Nebraska Neurological Society

Working together to advance neurological care for all Nebraskans

Our Mission

The mission of the Nebraska Neurological Society is to promote the neurological health of Nebraskans and to advance the profession of neurology through collaboration, education, and advocacy.

Our Purpose

Collaboration

The society will provide members with opportunities to network, share ideas and resources, and discuss topics relevant to the practice of neurology in Nebraska.  Annual meetings and social events will be held to bring members together.

Education

The society will share resources for patient education from national neurological societies, curate existing Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs to its members’ needs, develop CME appropriate for health care professionals in Nebraska, and encourage research collaboration.

Advocacy

Through nonpartisan political advocacy, the society will represent and support the best interests of Nebraska’s neurological clinicians and neuroscientists as they strive to provide state-of-the-art care across the state.

About Us

The Nebraska Neurological Society, a branch of the Nebraska Medical Association, was started in 2020 by neurologists practicing in diverse settings who recognized the potential of collaboration in serving the state’s specific neurological needs. Members include neurologists, neuropsychologists, and neuroscientists and hail from all across the state and Western Iowa.

Our Vision Statement

Through collaboration, education, advocacy, and research, the Nebraska Neurological Society will improve access to state-of-the art neurological care and scientific advances for all Nebraskans.
